NET-WORK4 intends
to provide
a flexible
and innovative
approach
to working
with prolific
young offenders
aged 11-19
living
in the
West Midlands.
The young
people
we work
with through
this project
may have
a history
of substance
misuse,
a connection
with the
criminal
justice
system,
excluded
from education,
and are
also unable
to access
employment.

There
will be
a central
point of
CONTACT
for each
young person.
This will
mean one
worker
dedicated
to each
individual
providing
continual
support
along with
empowering
them to
understand
their strengths
and skills
and make
effective
life choices.
We
will deliver
a transparent
simple
point of
connection
for both
the young
person
and referring
external
agencies.
This HUB
will enable
young people
to access
a portfolio
of exciting
holistic
programmes
and interventions.
This partnership
approach
will provide
extensive
and increased
engagement
for every
individual
within
our project,
resulting
in higher
expectation,
growth
and development.

Net-Work
4 will
ensure
there is
a CONTINUITY
in support
through
one worker.
Their dedicated
worker
will help
each young
person
a new direction
and to
seek long
term effective
change
in their
lives.
Net-Work
4 will
positively
promote
an alternative
to offending
seeking
to eradicate
reappearances
within
the criminal
justice
system.
We
will provide
a clear
action
plan for
the DELIVERY
of programmes
and interventions
by agencies
and partners
creating
tools for
engagement
with strategies
around
accessing
work skills,
training
opportunities
and employment.
This will
assist
the most
disaffected
young person
to interact
across
the delivery
partners
and help
these agencies
positively
impact
priority
young offenders.

Our
aim is
to see
young people
brought
out of
despair
and exclusion
into a
place where
they flourish
and grow.

Net-work
4 will
do the
following
to achieve
this aim:
-
- Identifying
strengths,
skills
and aspirations.
- Enable
consistent
access
to education,
employment
and training
opportunities
- Increase
self-esteem
and confidence
- Give
young
people
a positive
life
view
- Provide
significant
adult
role
models
- Build
up a
portfolio
of skills
and talents
- Provide
appropriate
accredited
outcomes
for work
undertaken
- Broaden
horizons
towards
better
opportunities
