Worth Unlimited are committed to building a professional community of youth work Practitioners, both salaried and non salaried, who can support one another and build an extensive and deep understanding of the issues affecting young people in our society today.

We believe that there is a significant relationship between practical face to face youth work and underpinning knowledge and research. And so throughout the country practitioners and academics are coming together to close the gaps and ensure a learning cycle impacts the future of youth provision in the U.K.

We welcome enquiries from those interested in contributing to this learning community including those who would like to start a branch of Worth Unlimited in their locality and those who are part of organisations already working in this field and would like to share in understanding and building models of good practice.

Our Learning Cycle consists of the following elements that are interrelated to one another.

• Recording the impact of the services delivered

• Meeting to discuss learning …

Together Worth Unlimited and Dare 2 will provide a number of services to facilitate this process. These include:-

• A new reflective journal highlighting models of good practise throughout the country
• Research Assistance to help projects capture the evidence of their work
• A Conference to facilitate reflection and sharing of practice
• Publication of evidence to influence beyond the network.
